BMI is a guide only. Your pharmacist will check your BMI and health in person before any treatment.

Do I need an appointment?
For many NHS services, such as Pharmacy First, you can simply come in and speak to our team. For private clinics such as the ear clinic, weight management and travel vaccines, we recommend booking online so we can make sure a pharmacist is free to see you.
What is Pharmacy First?
Pharmacy First is a free NHS Scotland service. Our pharmacists can give advice and, where suitable, treatment for common conditions like urinary tract infections, sore throats and skin complaints, without you needing to see your GP.
How much does ear wax removal cost?
An ear consultation costs £25. Ear wax removal by microsuction costs £35 for one ear or £60 for both ears.
Who can get weight loss treatment?
Weight loss treatment is generally for people with a BMI of 30 or more, or 27 or more with a weight-related health condition. Your pharmacist will check your BMI and medical history at your consultation to make sure treatment is safe for you.
When should I get my travel vaccines?
Ideally 6 to 8 weeks before you travel, as some vaccines need more than one dose or time to start working. If you are leaving sooner, get in touch anyway as we may still be able to help.
